The Villa is licensed by the Virginia Department of Social Services, Virginia Department of Education and Virginia Department of Mental Health, Mental Retardation and Substance Abuse Services. St. Joseph’s Villa is an approved Medicaid provider.

The Villa is also certified by the national Council on Accreditation for children and family services and registered with the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services-Charitable Registration Office, per the Code of Virginia Section 57-49, as a Virginia charitable organization.
