Our Staff
Craig Hedley, Director of Community Partnerships started working at St. Joseph's Villa in 1983. Craig served as a Health and Physical Education teacher, Special Education teacher and Principal of Dooley School in his first tenure (1983-1994). Craig returned in 1997, first as a Physical Education teacher and then in his current position as Director of Community Partnerships. Craig’s position allows him to reach out to local public and private sectors and develop partnerships that are mutually beneficial. He helped develop Brook Road Academy and School Based Day Treatment. He also serves as a certified Therapeutic Options of Virginia (TOVA) instructor teaching employees the proper was to handle crisis situations.
Craig graduated from University of Richmond with a BS in Health and Physical Education in 1977.
Craig has coached track and field at Hermitage and Atlee Highs, and at
University of Richmond and VCU, during the past 35 years.
